The City of Arnold’s Jere Lane Stormwater Improvements project was developed to alleviate street and yard flooding.  The existing enclosed stormwater system consisted of single grate inlets with 15 inch diameter corrugated pipe that connected to a previously enlarged system downstream. The system capacity was approximately a 5 year event.  In addition, the existing inlets were prone to frequent clogging further exacerbating the street and yard flooding issues with the bypassed flow draining through a residential driveway and yard.

Intuition & Logic developed an enclosed system design consisting of double curb inlets and increased pipe capacity.  Our design eliminated street and yard flooding for a 15 year design storm and reduced the 100 year bypass along the residential driveway from 35 cfs to 4 cfs.
